The new DOD Rubberneck Analog Delay has double the features with the cool new double-wide chassis. The Rubberneck boasts over a second of warm and musical 100% analog repeats you crave, along with tap-tempo, subdivisions, and tails. Double concentric knobs give you independent control of the Modulation Rate and Depth as well as Gain and Tone of the delay. Double footswitches allow for unique extended features like user customizable momentary control of oscillation and momentary control of the dizzying pitch sweep of “Rubbernecking.” These extended features are controlled by individual clear mini knobs that double as multi-color LED status indicators. Feedback loop send/return, remote footswitch control, true bypass, and rugged metal construction, make the Rubberneck Analog Delay the must have delay of the year. The Rubberneck also has jacks to allow FS3X 3-button remote foot switching, and a send and return so you can add external effects to the delay path. The DOD Rubberneck uses a 9VDC power supply to easily integrate into your existing pedalboard. Features Ultimate flexibility and control with up to 1.5 seconds of delay time Unique time stretching deature allows the delay repeats to be stretched or compressed in time Over a second of warm and musical 100% analog repeats Repeats Oscillation feature provides a secondary delay feedback setting for creating momentary run away oscillation effects Add effects to the delay feedback signal path with the Rubberneck's Loop Send/Return jack SPECIFICATIONS General Specifications - Controls: Time, Repeats, Level, Speed, Depth, Tone, Gain, Tap Ratio, Tails On/Off, Effect On/Off / Rubbernecking, Rubberneck Rate, Regen Adjust, Tempo/Regen- Input: (1) 1/4" Instrument- Send / Return: (1) 1/4” TRS Send (Tip) / Return (Ring)- Output: (1) 1/4” Instrument- External 3-Button Footswitch Input: (1) 1/4” TRS Instrument- Chassis: All Metal- Power Supply: 9V DC Optional Power Supply Dimensions - Length: 5.0" (127mm)- Height: 2.17" (55mm)- Width: 4.68" (119mm)- Weight: 1.12 lbs. (508g) - Time Knob: controls the delay time. Range is 30ms to 1000ms. Up to 1500ms of delay is available using the Tempo footswitch.- Repeats Knob: controls number of delay repeats heard. Higher settings can create oscillating runaway feedback that analog delays are known for.- Level Knob: controls the output level of the delay signal. Use in conjunction with the Repeats, Tone and Gain knobs to balance your delay levels.- Tap Ratio Switch: selets between 3 different tempo ratios making it easy to get delay repeats that are perfectly in time with the tapped intervals or giving them triplet or doubled feel.- Rate/Depth Knobs: control the amount of delay time modulation creating sounds from subtle chorusing to wild vibrato/tremolo textures.- Gain/Tone Knobs: shapes the delay signal by adding more input gain into the bucket brigades making the delay more overdriven. The Tone knob increases brightens or darkens the delay signal.- Tails Switch: allows repeats to be heard or not heard when the delay is bypassed. The 3rd option (On-No Dry) defeats the dry signal while allowing delay repeats to continue in bypass.Effects on Footswitch: turns the delay effect on/off. When pressed and held the Rubbernecking feature is enabled which modifies the delay time up or down at different rates depending on the setting of the Rubberneck Rate control.- Effect LED/Rubberneck Rate Control: utilizes a bi-color LED beneath it to indicate different delay operating states. When it is green the delay effect is enabled. When it is pulsing green to yellow it is enables and showing modulation Rate and Depth settings. Red means the Rubbernecking feature is active.- Temp LED/Regen Adjust Control: utilizes an LED beneath it that flashes at the current delay time. The delay time can be changed by tapping the Temp/Regen footswitch. Used for adjusting the secondary regen/repeats setting of the delay that is enabled by pressing and holding the Tempo/Regen footswitch.- Tempo/Regen Footswitch: used to tap in the delay time during performance. When the delay is enabled and the footswitch is pressed, it enables the secondary repeats regen control in the path providing control of a secondary delay repeats setting set by the Regen Adjust control.
