When it’s outside it can get wet or dry, which can cause it to have the chance to split, warp, crack, blow away, etc. Nothing leaves my shop that I didn’t craft myself with the best quality cedar I can supply to you, so please rest assure!I dry and store my cedar outside, sometimes there can be graying on the boards... Anything that is grayor has a gray tint to it will be placed towards the back, bottom or inside of the bluebird house. Ive also had requests for all gray (aged look birdhouses)..
