NOTE: Sportster® 1200S with Dual Plug Heads: OEM coil has low resistance primary windings that are not compatible with the ignition. You must replace the OEM coil with an aftermarket four-tower coil that has 3-ohm primary resistance. You will have to remove the original equipment MAP sensor. You will also require a timing rotor (P/N 18004) and VOES switch (P/N 18010). NOTE: Switch selectable single or dual fire mode allows you to initially install the unit and run it in dual fire mode with the stock coil. You can then easily upgrade to single fire by adding an appropriate coil (P/N 2005 included in this kit).
