DESIGN MATCH BOX POCKET CASE This is a nice Edwardian brass vesta case with an unusual mechanism on the lid that locks the case shut. The lid is fixed with a bar that goes all the way through and down each side of the vesta case. There is a small button on the side to open.. The bottom of the the base has a recessed groove for striking the matches. It is in fair used condition with scratches and worn areas (see photos), and many dents as it was used a lot by the owner decades ago. It measures approximately 2 3/4” X 1 1/8 “ X 1/2” Fair vintage condition with signs of heavy use see pictures. What stories can this piece tell?
