It comes in a combination of slate blue, green, yellow, and orange. Its obverse features the Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the agricultural scenes in bas relief such as the Nile god holding an offering table with lotus and papyrus flowers, and fishing. The paper bill is 145 x 70 mm in size and is equipped with a solid security thread with a demetalized denomination in Arabic, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized 5, Five Pounds in Arabic, and the national emblem. Its watermark consists of an image of King Tuthmosis and an electrotype 5. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
