It is a black, brown, blue, and purple note that is dated 2023, bears the signature of Hassan Abdalla, and measures 160 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the Amir Qijimas al Ishaqi Mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side shows a pharaonic boat, a winged sun disc with snakes, the tops of architectural columns at the Edfu Temple, and a scarab pushing a sun disc. Security features include an Eye of Horus registration device, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with demetallized 50 and Fifty Pounds in Arabic, and a watermark of King Akhenaten with an electrotype 50.
