The bean comes from the Sidoma region of southern Ethiopia, specifically the mountainous town of Yirgacheffe, where coffee plants grow easily because of the high elevation, healthy soil, and warm, tropical weather. This is a light roast coffee with fruit forward notes. It almost has a tea-like aroma (citrusy, floral), sweet and essences of fine wine. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe's fragrant aromas and good acidity make this coffee distinctive enough to be called a coffee wine.
