The long line flax is medium coarseness and still has some vegetable matter. It is a light golden color from being water retted. The flax was organically grown on a small farm in Egypt where no chemicals were used during the growing process. The flax was then machine processed. It's not as soft as other flax I've spun, but it is a good grade and very strong. Further hatchling would help to soften the fiber for fine thread spinning.
