This Flexcut 70 degree Palm V-Tool 1/4 inch fixed handled tool is constructed from solid Ash and high carbon steel. The fixed handle version allows for faster tool changes over the unhandled tools which need to be used with an interchangeable handle. Made of high carbon spring steel, the tool shank gives just enough to follow the contour of carving. This unique material also contributes to its excellent edge holding capability as the shank is tempered like a spring while the tip is hardened to Rc 59-61, then hand honed and polished.
