It includes a multi-connector adapter and patch cables for testing RJ45, M12X, M12D, and M8D terminated cables in seconds and displays results graphically so the user can see opens, shorts, and crossed wires. The MS2-100-IE provides a graphical wire map, pair lengths, distance to fault, detection of 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds, and PoE detection. It also reports which end of the cable has a problem and reports the distance to an open connection within the cable.
