I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is a Dutch 833 silver leaf spoon (I have four available, price is for one), that was sold by a local auction house as "1850". It has a mostly blunt sword (833 silver) assay mark. Under magnification the mark appears to be the 1906 to 1953 mark not the 1814 to 1906 mark. The spoon is also substantially similar to another seller's spoon which has assay and date marks for Schoonhoven 1917 (see last photo, not this spoon, not included). The spoon here has a maker's mark Star AP (Star). This maker is apparently "rare"/unknown on lists of Dutch silversmiths. Each leaf handle is hand engraved. The spoons weigh an average of 6.8 grams each and are 4 1/4" long. One spoon is $24.99. If you want multiples offer $22 EACH. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
