This was in a desk drawer for decades. A family member bought it in 1955 for college use. The case is in great condition except the writing inside the cover. The ruler slides easily and was taken care of, I started to wipe with a damp soft cloth and the slide cleaned up nice. But, taking the slide off and cleaning inside would be best. Should look like new. All markings are intact.
