It has a spear shaped blade with the original thickness and texture of the file, and a flat grind. A long vinegar soak gives it a thin dark patina. The handle is smooth sanded purple G10, with nickel bolts and a stainless stop pin. Blade length: 2 3/4" Cutting edge: 2 5/8" Thickness: 1/8" or so (file texture makes it just over) Handle length: 4 3/8" Open: 7 1/8" Closed: 5 3/4"
