This was thought to be petrified bog wood, but it is actually Volcanic Thermal Vent Layered Jasper. This is great cabbing material - it is very hard and provides a high gloss shine. The different colored thin layers in random patters make this material unique and each piece is a one of a kind. Colors ranged from blues, greens, pink, brown and cream colors.
