Its center is made of a copper-aluminum-nickel alloy and its outer ring is made of a copper-nickel alloy. The coin was engraved by Mamuka Gongadze, the author of the coat of arms of Georgia. Its obverse side shows the national arms of Georgia in the center and the Strength in Unity motto and the date on the outer ring. Its reverse side shows the face value in the center and a stylized sun ray pattern on the outer ring. Its reeded edges has an inscription of Georgia in English text. The coin weighs 8.06 g and has a diameter of 27 mm.
