This used 1 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Debt Office. It is a dark green, pink, and red note that is dated 12 August 1914, bear the signatures of Sprenger, V. Bischoffshausen, Vieregge, Muller Noelle, Dickhuth and Warnecke, and measures 95 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side features the red Reichsschuldenverwaltung seal. Its reverse side shows an imperial eagle. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of blossom pattern.
