This listing is for a lovely vintage Gorham Sterling Silver compote decorated with the STRASBOURG swag and scroll pattern around the top border. Marked on base "Gorham, Sterling, 1140" and "Cement Filled Reinforced With Rod of Other Metal". Measures 6 1/4" high with the bowl being 6 1/4" in diameter and a 3 1/4" diameter base. Weighs 320 grams. This nice compote is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. The matching compote has a slightly different mark on the base that reads "Gorham, Sterling, Reinforced, 1140".
