The combination of at-hand metals into a home-brewed damascus gives new and better characteristics to the reforged steels, and a uniquely etched blade to every knife. The "village" manufacturing groups of specialist workers building knives, swords, and machetes, using local materials, elementary machines, inventive techniques, and personal detailing and assembly makes every knife an artwork in itself.
