Bought this Bit for a mare I had who was very fussy, didn't like metal bits at all. She didn't like this one either, only used it on her once. She finally decided she liked a soft, bendy Nathe Bit. This bit hung on a cleaning hook in my grooming stall for a while, where it accumulated some dust. There some marks on the mouthpiece where my mare chewed on it a bit, but the mouthpiece has been repaired to very smooth, these are pictured, also some dark marks on the ends of the bit, stains from the dust, also pictured. The rings and the joint are shiny with no rust.
