Heavy, Antique American 15ct Gold plated and 900 silver, envelope design Vesta case from the 1920’s. Immaculately preserved, the case has a shiny, scratch free gold patina and 900 Silver Stamp to the upper right corner, with bust detail of the President and ‘United States Postage’ to the top and ‘Two 2 cents’ to the bottom of the bust. The two cent stamp was in circulation from 1926-1932. The case further features postage address detail in antique handwriting font, ‘His Excellency Count d’ Aicovalley Washington’. Cleaned and polished using traditional methods; the case displays exquisite detail; the raised United States 2 cent stamp postage to the upper right corner, sealed envelope design verso, hinged lid and striker to the base, all of which are in excellent cosmetic condition and working order.
