Although it shares similarities with the Beecher tile held in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum, the back shows variation from that example and no marks of the International Tile Company can be identified. Accordingly, no assurance of origin is given. The tile measures exactly 4.25" x 4.25". 5/16" thick. Crazing across the entirety of the surface, some darkening of the left side of the tile, and a few small chips and cracks at the edges as shown in the photos.In addition, light scuffing along the far left hand side of the piece as shown in the photo.
