The powder reservoir has a PYREX glass tube. The shot reservoir has an Acrylic (Plexiglas) tube. These reservoirs are a great improvement over the opaque tall tubes. The tubes have tight fitting caps. The base of each reservoir is made of 6061 aluminum. The reservoir tube is secured the aluminum base with epoxy. Each reservoir is secured to the loader with three set screws for a rock solid mounting. The shot reservoir is 4" in diameter and 12" tall and holds 25 pounds of shot. The powder reservoir is 2.75" in diameter and 12" tall and holds over a pound of powder. The powder reservoir has a built-in baffle to assure consistent metering. The reservoirs and metering assembly can be removed as a unit and inverted to change bushings. The PYREX powder reservoir lets you leave powder in the reservoir without damaging the reservoir. The PYREX glass tube is impervious to the newer powders like Hodgdon TiteGroup and Longshot. Made in the USA
