This uncirculated 2 Honduran lempira banknote commemorates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the government of Dr. Marco Aurelio Soto. It is a purple banknote that is dated 23 September 1976, bear the signatures of President Guillermo Bueso, Bank Manager Ramon Euceda Cardona, and Minister of Finance and Public Credit Porfirio Zavala Sandoval, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms and the portrait of Dr. Marco Aurelio Soto. Its reverse side features Tiger Island and the Port of Amapala City where Dr. Soto’s government was inaugurated. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark.
