Its obverse side features the Coat of Arms of Honduras and a portrait of Dionisio de Herrera, a liberal politician who served as the countrys head of state from 1824 to 1827. The reverse side features the old Presidential palace in Tegucigalpa. The note is 159 x 66 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however a watermark shadow image with a numeric 20 pattern and BCH are added to the design to enhance its security features.
