This listing is for a lovely vintage Sterling Silver shell shaped candy dish with handle made by the Hunt Silver Company. The dish features a scalloped raised upper edge, shell grooved surface, a curved wide handle on one end and sits on two ball feet that balance with the lower end of the handle for the shell to sit correctly. Marked with the trademark stamp of the Hunt Silver Co. and "Sterling, 53". The Hunt Silver Co. was in business in New York and Chicago during the 1930's-1940's. Measures 1 3/4" high (at handle), 6" long and 5" wide. Weights 85 grams. This nice shell dish is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
