Hunter PSR-22For 3/4 up to 3.5 horsepower 240VAC pumps (I personally would "upgrade" to the PSR52 above 2HP) and up to 2 HP for 120VAC pumps This relay is to be used as a switching mechanism to turn the pump on and off from the irrigation timer. The relay is fed with (usually) 240VAC and the relay switch is fed by 24VAC from the timer. When the switch is activated by the timer, it closes to complete the connection to the pump. This relay will work with ALL 24VAC controllers, UL approved and the enclosure is NEMA rated. The enclosure also has a lock on it to keep undesirables out (we have a big problem here with tree frogs!).
