IES INTER-FOAM 10 is a two-part expandable rigid urethane foam formulated to fill and reinforce pillar posts and box sections. Expands up to 10 times its original volume. Also stops wind, water and dust leaks. Eliminates panel flutter on cross members and provides sound deadening and compressive strength. Protect surrounding area from accidental drippage. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses. 2. Remove over cap from cartridge. Hold cartridge at a 45° angle and press the nose of the cartridge against a hard surface to break off the cartridge end. Cartridge end can be used as a closure when finished dispensing. 3. Place INTER-FOAM 10 into a manual applicator gun. The viscosity of this product is thin - DO NOT use a pneumatic applicator gun. Before attaching the mixing tip, balance the cartridge by holding the front end of the gun & cartridge at an upright 45° angle and pumping the gun slowly until material flows out equally from both sides. CAUTION - While balancing the cartridge, be sure to protect surrounding areas and other personnel from potential projectile liquid. Wipe outlets clean and screw on static mixer. Dispense a bead of material approximately the length of the static mixer to ensure a proper uniform mix. 4. When using INTER-FOAM 10 to seal pillars or posts, apply a sufficient amount. Approximately 1/2 of a cartridge may be needed depending on the size of the void. 5. When using INTER-FOAM 10 overhead or on a vertical surface, dispense the foam slowly, allowing it to cream or thicken as it is being dispensed. If dripping occurs, let it drip and slow down the pumping of the material. Cut off excess material with a scissors or razor blade when cured. 6. Remove mixing tip immediately after usage and install break off cap to close the cartridge. Store cartridge upright to avoid leakage. Ideal storage temperature is below 75°F (24°C) in dry conditions. 7. INTER-FOAM 10 can be painted in 10-15 minutes if needed.
