The 50,000 Indonesian rupiah banknote was issued after the Asian financial crisis and the end of the Suharto administration. The note was withdrawn in 2008. This note bears two dates1999 and 2003and the signatures of Bank Indonesia Governor Sjahril Sabirin and Deputy Governor Dono Iskandar Djojo. Instead of Suharto, the front design of this note features the great Indonesian songwriter Wage Rudolf Soepratman. Its reverse side features six soldiers raising the Indonesian flag. Security features of the note are a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA 50000 and watermarks of Hadji Oemar Said Tjokroaminoto and an electrotype Bank of Indonesia seal. The note is 152 mm long and 76 mm wide. This note is in uncirculated condition.
