The materials used in this replacement keypad are all rated for outdoor operation. The adhesive is also outdoor rated. The dome switches used are high reliability. Order this if your HAYWARD Keypad has rotted out due to weathering, sun and other outdoor exposure. Or the dome switches are sticking or do not function any more. Or the flex circuit has cracked at that back and does not make contact any more. Also, If you are like me your plastic Bezel is fine to use over again . Installation is easy: Remove your plastic bezel, carefully disconnect the existing cabling, peel off the old keypad, clean the surface of any debris from your existing plastic bezel and paste this replacement keypad where the old one was. Put a twist in the cable before plugging it in. Plug the other connections back in, screw the bezel back in place. Complete, easy installation instructions will be e-mailed to you in a PDF file.
