It features solid wood construction with a select spruce top and well-flamed maple back and sides. The SR72 viola is finished with a hand-applied red-brown oil varnish. Custom changes: Fitted with A string (D'addario Helicore) and D, G, and C strings all Obligado. A tone adjustment was conducted, making the instrument have a deeper and more full sound especially on the lower strings.
