On its obverse is the seal of the Maritime Republics (Amalfi, Genoa, Pisa, Venice), the interior of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Sicily, and a portrait of Vincenzo Bellini. The reverse of the note depicts a column, a tree, and a singer in a scene from Bellini’s opera, Norma. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals Vincenzo Bellini and an electrotype BI monogram. It is 126 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Angrlo Amici. This particular banknote is in used condition.
