Check the listing for details. Japanese Chisel 36mm restored. Condition: Used. Listed at 47.50 USD. If you have never used a Japanese chisel you need to try one. They take an incredibly sharp edge. They are made from high carbon steel which is much better for cutting than any stainless steel. They do oxidize though. I have filed through the rust. The wood and metal have been oiled. I used linseed oil on everything then an oil-wax combo on the wood. I made a new walnut handle and a new ferrule and hoop as well. The hoop has been set and the blade sharpened and is very sharp. It has a 36mm blade and is almost 7 1/2” long. It has the blacksmith’s signature.
