Check the listing for details. Knife Maker's Scribe, 2X72 Knife Maker's Bench Scribe. Condition: New. Listed at 109.99 USD. This is a rugged bench scribe that sits on any flat surface. The height is adjusted by working a pair of thumb screws against each other then your setting is locked tight with the lever handle cross screw. The handle lever is spring loaded and can be set in any position. I set my height using a feeler gauge under the scribe edge. The base is a solid steel plate that measures 7" X 7" X 1/4" thick. There are 4 rubber feet on the bottom side. These are very rugged heavy scribes that weigh 4 pounds. It can be used as is, permanently mounted to your bench, or I used a wood cleat mounted to the bench between the rubber feet. That way there is zero movement but you can still move the scribe somewhere else. The scribe tip is fine tool steel with a solid carbide cutting edge brazed in place. This is probably the only scribe that I have never misplaced. Note. Ruler is NOT included.
