This uncirculated 500 Lao kip note is a standard circulation note that is introduced by the National Bank of Laos in 1974 and bears the signature of Phagna Oudong Souvannavong. It is a red note that measures 164 mm x 82 mm. Its obverse side shows a temple and a portrait of King Sisavang Vatthana. Its reverse side depicts dragons and the Nam Ngum hydroelectric dam. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of the national coat of arms with the Erawan three-headed elephant. The note was withdrawn in 1976.
