Check the listing for details. Large 1996 Vintage Military/Space Rad Hard ASIC from United Technologies (UTMC). Condition: New. Listed at 42.50 USD. This is really a big attractive 1996 chip in all gold and purple ceramic. These things were very very pricey when new. It's still in the lead frame and would make a great addition to any chip collection. I decapped a damaged one to get the die photo in the last picture. United Technologies Microelectronics Center was in the business of making high end hardware for radiation resistant applications. They were bought out by Aeroflex who is now owned by Cobham and continues in this same high end electronics business today.
