Check the listing for details. Large Antique Wilcox Silver Plated Quadruple Lined Water Pitcher Maritime Theme. Made in United States. Listed at 125.00 USD. This large 13" pitcher is a delight to admire. The lid is adorned with a frog, the handle is remanicent of the lady on the front of old maritime wooden sailing ship, and on each side there are sailing themes and etchings. The pitcher is engraved Belle Simpson, which leads me to believe it was a member of the JA Simpson family who produced silverplate later under the Wilcox name. The frog lid opener does fall into the lid, but can be displayed in place when you pull it up. The pitcher is adorned with beuatiful carvings, but it does have several dents and is in need of TLC. I've never seen such a whimsical silverplate pitcher.
