It is used on the doors and hatches on a great number of van cabs, heavy equipment cabs, pilot houses, generator buildings and tool box vans. It comes in zinc finish with inside override handle, key and strike plate. The inside handle can be operated even when the outside is locked. That's a major safety feature when use in van cabs where the operator may enter from the floor hatch. In the event of a fire, the operator would be able to escape out the rear door even if it was locked. See drawing to make sure it will fit your application. Other sizes and styles are available and I do have the rubber gasket in another auction if you need it.
