Its obverse features King Moshoeshoe II, King Letsie III, King Moshoeshoe I, and the coat of arms of Lesotho. Its reverse illustrates men on horseback. It has a watermark that reflects King Moshoeshoe I wearing a top hat and an electrotype 50 capped with a Basotho hat.
