OPTIONAL IDEAS (1) Adjustable Cargo Basket: Drill a series of holes into the Support Bracket allowing you to unbolt and relocate the distance the Cargo Basket is spaced away from the bumper to increase capacity. Replace the 5/16” lock nuts with nuts that have knobs on them for tool-less in the field adjustment. SUGGESTION: I would upgrade to 3/8” bolts and drill a small hole sideways through the bolt so a pin clip can be inserted to prevent knob bolts from loosening by vibration (2) Front and Rear Mounting: Use the Cargo Basket on either the front or rear of your HMMWV to secure cargo with the rear tailgate down. - Use a grinder with thin cut-off wheel to remove ½” off both sides of the of the basket’s bottom and mount two (or 3) heavy door hinges along the back-edge of the basket bottom. Then sit the basket on the rear tailgate held by the two chains folded half-way-down. - Next use hinges to bolt the basket to the sill of the tailgate base so that it can be folded up with room to then close the HMMWV tail gate. - Recommend stainless steel fasteners to avoid galvanic corrosion with the HMMWV Aluminum cargo bed. SHIPPING OPTIONS There are a couple options besides local pickup:(1) The basket weight is under 70-pounds so I can ship USPS if I separately ship the support bracket (14-pounds) with optional fastener pack (2-pounds) (2) I can still ship as one package as FedEx or UPS Ground(3) If you buy more than one they can be shipped Freight on a pallet. MY SUGGESTION: Select local pickup and I can then PayPal invoice you the cost of shipping option you prefer. This will be the least expensive approach.
