This uncirculated 10 Maldivian rufiyaa banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Maldives Monetary Authority as part of the polymer series. It is a golden yellow polymer banknote that is dated 10 March 2018, bears the signature of Ahmed Naseer, and measures 150 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows an underprint with traditional drum (boduberu) designs, seated men and women playing traditional drums, and a toddy tapper climbing a coconut palm tree. Its reverse side depicts the oldest drum displayed in the national museum. The note has the theme “our culture”. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a shadow image of the national coat of arms and a denomination registration device.
