This listing is for one used Vintage McCoy 49 Jr. Duro-Matic #8149 Customized High-Performance Competition Ignition Model Racing Engine. This engine comes equipped with a High Compression Red Head & Angled Plug, a Dual-Ringed High Domed Racing Piston, Rear Open Plenum Intake with Crankcase Pressure Release Tube, & Two Rear Sub Piston Induction Holes or (SPI) just between the Custom Shaved Exhaust area & just above the intake. The SPI holes were used on other brands of model engines as well like the Anderson Spitfire & Super Cyclone. I would imagine the engine was balanced & blueprinted but I have no way of proving this !! The Compression Stroke can be heard as well as felt in your hand reflecting a very smooth & precise rotation that would not be found in your everyday production line engines. Also included is a dilapidated box with worn & weathered Literature/Brochures/Decals etc. This would be an excellent choice for the Performance Enthusiast or Stunt Flyer as well as the Collector who has an appreciation for Vintage engines.
