Professional compound for heavy defect removal without scouring Meguiars M100 Mirror Glaze Pro Speed Compound is a professional heavy cutting compound that removes severe below surface defects like scratches, acid rain, severe swirls and holograms, and 1200 grit or finer sanding marks without hazing or dulling the finish. Pro Speed Compound was originally formulated to be used by rotary buffer only, but it can also be used by a dual action polisher, like Meguiars MT300 DA Polisher to obtain amazing results. This advanced auto body compound is safe, paintable and contains no fillers, so your defects are actually removed instead of simply being covered up. Follow with Meguiars M210 Mirror Glaze Ultra Pro Finishing Polish to further refine paint and maximize depth of shine before applying a long-lasting wax or sealant, like Meguiars M21 Mirror Glaze Synthetic Sealant 2.0 or Meguiars M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant. M100 Pro Speed Compound is available in 32 oz and 1 gallon. Applying Meguiars M100 Pro Speed Compound by Dual Action Polisher Attach Meguiars red foam DA Cutting Disc DFC5 or DA Microfiber Cutting Disc DMC5 to the MT300 DA Polisher. Be sure to prime your disc by spreading a thin and even amount of product to the face of the disc. Dispense a small amount of the compound directly onto the pad. Set the MT300 DA Polisher speed between 4,800-5.800 OPMs. Work in a 2 x 2 section applying 2 to 3 overlapping passes with moderate pressure, followed by light pressure for following 2 passes. Do not let product fully dry. Wipe off the residue with a fresh, clean Meguiars Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel before it dries. Flip your towel to a clean side for a final wipe. Reapply the compound if you didnt remove the defects with the first application. Apply in sections like this over the vehicle. If any light defects are present and you want to maximize depth of shine, follow with M210 Ultra Pro Finishing Polish on a Yellow Foam DA Polishing Disc. Applying Meguiars M100 Pro Speed Compound by Rotary Buffer Work one section at a time with a wool pad like Meguiars Soft Buff Wool WRWHC7 or WRWC8 or Soft Buff Foam Cutting Pad WRFC7. Set rotary buffer to approximately 1000-1800 RPMs. Be sure to prime your pad by spreading a thin and even amount of product to the face of the disc. Dispense a small amount of the compound directly onto the paint and begin working in a 2 x 2 area with overlapping passes. Buff area using light to medium pressure. Reduce pressure when compound begins to dry. Wipe off residue before the product dries with a fresh, clean Meguiars Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel. Continue working until defects or sanding marks are removed. Work in sections over the vehicle. If light defects remain follow with M210 Ultra Pro Finishing Polish with a yellow foam polishing pad. Finalize with a long-lasting protectant like Meguiars M21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0.
