It is handmade and strapped together with Rawhide and wire. The seating area looks to be approximately 12 in and it's about 18 in end to end. See photos with measurements. It is decorative. Because of its age I would consider it an antique or decorative and not a functional saddle for safety reasons. It has a brand stamp on the underside that is in one of the photos.
