This is an Achromatic Microscope by Georg Simon Plössl. Georg Simon Plössl (1794–1868) was born in 1794 in Wieden, near Vienna. He learned woodworking from his father, a cabinetmaker, and in 1812 was hired by the renowned Viennese optician Johann Friedrich Voigtländer.
