This platter was part of the unsold inventory of a general store in rural Washington state that opened in the 1930s and closed a few years ago. The family found hundreds of items stored in the basement. Please see my other listings for these and many others items - a vast range with no theme whatsoever. It never sold and was never used. Is from the 1950s. Colony glass reverse painted metal foil with wood and gold grips. Bent glass. Not including the grips, it's 8 3/4" x 8 3/4". The photo of the back most closely captures the true color.
