STS-49 was the maiden flight of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. This flight was from May 7th to 16th, 1992. This pin measures approximately 1 3/8 inches from top to bottom and 1 inch from side to side. It states on the front "First Flight" in the blue arc below the earth. One of the two back side photographs is without the safety tab/button/clasp and one is with it on.
