This uncirculated 1 Nepalese rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 1995. It is a blue, purple, gold, and brown banknote that bears the signature of Satyendra Pyara Shrestha, and measures 106 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of King Birendra, a basaha (bull) facing the Pashupatinath Temple, and an obverse of a coin. Its reverse side depicts two musk deers jumping over a creek, Mount Amadablam, the national coat of arms, and the bank logo. Though the banknote does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of a plumed crown.
