This is a high quality 20x OEM microscope objective lens made by Nikon for Illumina gene sequencers. I estimate the NA to be about 0.7. It is corrected for 300 microns of coverslip thickness to match the Illumina flowcell. You can read more in the Illumina patents. It is very similar to the Nikon CFI Plan APO VC 20x Objective. You can get a crisp focus by temporarily putting an extra coverslip on a slide. This is a great value for a home or hobbyist scope builder.
