The top of the arc lamp is broken. With brand new bulbs selling for $200 and not having long life span, we figured this would be a good reflector for someone to upgrade to LED as a project. I suspect a high intensity car headlight LED (and external 12 V power supply ) or HID xenon lamp could be fitted into this, now that the price of those has come down and readily avail at auto stores and provide you a cheaper way to run your projector for many hours.
