The looper offers up to 6 hours of recording capacity across 256 storage locations. The looper is foot-controlled via the left multifunction switch according to a tried-and-tested pattern: press once to start recording, press again to stop recording and start playback, and press a third time to record overdubs. You can also mute and reactivate overdub playback by long pressing. A second functional scheme that activates overdub on the second press is also available. In parallel to the looper, the JTC Drum & Loop contains a no less extensive and effective drum machine, for accompaniment live or in the studio. It offers no fewer than 25 rhythms in 4/4 time, 10 in 3/4 time and 5 blues-oriented.
